Esprits malins, souvent espiègles, voir malfaisants, plus occasionnellement bienveillants, les Yokaï ont un comportement imprévisible qui peut porter chance ou malchance à ceux qui les rencontrent. Souvent dotés d'attributs animaux, ils arborent parfois des traits plus humains, ou bien se cachent au coeur d'objets inanimés. Certains vont jusqu'à se métamorphoser. Dans cette collaboration Franco-Japonaise, Defracto se met au défi de jongler assez longtemps pour trouver le yokai intrinsèque à leur jonglage.

Yokai is a concept embodied in living forms. It is the being of something that has lived long enough. A Yokai has a form and a life. A dark life, as can life itself. There are countless Yokai in Japanese culture. It has become like the name of a familiar and dangerous animal, know to all.
